Notice of Intent to Seek Reinstatement: G. Cameron Byrd

Notice is hereby given that Giles Cameron Byrd of Hallsboro, NC, intends to file a petition for reinstatement before the Disciplinary Hearing Commission of the North Carolina State Bar. Byrd’s License was suspended in 2018 upon surrendering his license due to allegations of misdemeanor obstruction of justice for providing false information on a client’s application for limited driving privilege, altering a plea agreement after the prosecutor signed it, and attempting to have a civil litigant held in contempt of court for failing to comply with a court order that was no longer valid and had not been served on the litigant.

Individuals who wish to note their concurrence with or opposition to these petitions should file written notice with the secretary of the North Carolina State Bar, PO Box 25908, Raleigh, NC, 27601 before July 15, 2024.
