This page provides a searchable database of Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs) and Preliminary Injunctions sought by the North Carolina State Bar and entered by the Wake County Superior Court pursuant to N.C. General Statute 84-28(f). These court orders restraining misconduct by the lawyer may be entered when “the necessity for prompt action exists regardless of whether a disciplinary proceeding in the matter of the conduct is pending.” N.C.G.S. 84-28(f).
