A business named “Pro Accident Injury Lawyers” maintains a website on which it offers to provide lawyer referrals to members of the public who have suffered personal injury. Numerous North Carolina lawyers are identified on the website as participants in the referral service who are available to provide services to prospective clients. It has been reported to the State Bar that North Carolina lawyers who are listed on the website are not participants in the referral service and that their names are being used without their knowledge or consent.
