"Peter Bolac" Email Scam Alert

We’ve been made aware of a phishing email impersonating Peter Bolac, secretary & executive director of the State Bar. The message appears to come from “Peter Bolac” but uses a fake email address ending in @ncbar.sendcrp.com.
 
This is a scam. The email may appear to come from the State Bar, but it is not. As a reminder, always check the sender’s email address when an email appears suspicious. Official North Carolina State Bar emails ONLY come from addresses ending in @ncbar.gov.
 
If you received the email described above, do not reply; instead, please disregard the purported request and delete the email immediately.
