The bankruptcy exams of the American Board of Certification (ABC), a national, ABA-accredited specialty certification board, are used by the North Carolina State Bar specialization program to qualify lawyers for certification in consumer and business bankruptcy law. A lawyer who passes an ABC exam is eligible for certification by both the North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization and by ABC. Exam and study guide information are available from ABC.
