President Katherine Frye has called a Special Meeting of the State Bar Council for Tuesday, March 31, at 11:00 AM (via Zoom). The purposes of the meeting are as follows:
1) Consideration of the proposed changes to the State Bar's regulatory structure and lawyer discipline process discussed at the March 24 meeting of the State Bar Grievance Review Committee; and
2) Consideration of whether to authorize Counsel to submit a comment on behalf of the State Bar in opposition to the US Department of Justice’s proposed rule regarding the review of bar complaints against USDOJ attorneys.
