The State Bar has learned that there is a scam involving a letter that purports to come from a lawyer named Scott Perkins at a law firm in Charlotte. There is no North Carolina lawyer by named Scott Perkins and there is no North Carolina law firm named Perkins, Hughes & Partners LLP.
