The new North Carolina State Bar headquarters building was designed to facilitate the business of the State Bar. Priority for use of the building is given to the work of the State Bar, especially hearings of the Disciplinary Hearing Commission.

However, because meeting rooms and courtrooms are not always in use, the State Bar Council makes the facility available to members of the North Carolina State Bar and to bar-related organizations for events that are directly related to the practice of law. For most events scheduled during normal work hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), there is no charge for the use of the facility unless security, cleaning, or damage repair is required. For after-hours or weekend events, a building use charge, security costs, and other incidental charges may be required. Charges will be determined based on the duration of the event, the number of people who will attend, and the need for a security deposit.

Most questions will be answered by review of the Building Use Policy, Building Use Conditions, and Building Use Agreement. For scheduling or other questions, please contact our Office Manager at (919) 706-4243.
